Branched-chain amino acids
Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) refers to three amino acids: Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine. BCAA’s are known to stimulate protein synthesis which makes supplementation helpful for individuals looking to increase muscle mass. BCAA’s also help reduce the rate of protein breakdown, which helps prevent fatigue and supports maintaining lean muscle mass when engaging in a calorie-deficient diet.
